Fly From Inside
I like to fly only from inside the house or inside the car this way I’ll have full focus, nobody talking to me, and be far less likely to crash.
Take Off From the Ground
Take off from the ground, never from your hand. On the ground the drone gets its balance.
Fly Where You Look
Always fly in the direction you're looking, exactly like walking. You never walk backward or side to side. Flying backwards and sideways is how you crash.
Obstacle Sensors
Don't bank on obstacle sensors. A tiny camera sensor will likely not detect a wire a few millimeters thick.
Drone Stuck in a Tree
Drone stuck in a tall tree? Call a tree cutting company to climb it. About 100 dollars versus a several hundred to thousand dollar replacement drone.
