Editor Training
Accept the invite. Then wait for a tag.
- Jose sent you a Notion invite this week. Here is why, what you will see, and how a revision reaches you. Nothing to do yet beyond accepting.
How to Use Notion Comments and Reviews (7 min). Jose recorded this for the admin. The first 3 minutes 20 seconds show the board and the comment flow that reaches you. The rest covers the clients board and is for the admin only.
Why you are being added to Notion
- Photo revisions used to travel by chat. Now the admin leaves the client's request on the project itself as a Notion comment with you tagged, so the request, screenshots, and property live in one place.
- Accept the email invite: hit Accept, then Go to page. Notion works in the browser at app.notion.com. No app needed.

What you will see once you are in
- The Projects board lists every shoot from the past few months, grouped by week.
- Inside a project, the comment area sits near the top, with a second box at the bottom. Nothing needs your input unless someone tags you.

How a revision reaches you
- When a client wants a photo changed, the admin opens that project, types what the client said, attaches screenshots, tags you, and hits send. That comment is your work order.
- Do not expect original files in the comment. Screenshots are enough, because you can pull the right files from the delivery yourself.

Where the ping shows up
- A tag lands in your Notion inbox and in your email, so keep mention notifications on.
- Jose is also wiring a WhatsApp ping with the property, the author, the note, and an Open in Notion link. Until he says it is on, trust Notion.

Your part, now and when tagged
- Until you are tagged: nothing. No daily check of the board, no check-ins.
- When tagged: open the project from the notification, read the comment, pull the files from the delivery, edit, and deliver as you always have.
- Then reply in the same thread and tag whoever pinged you, so they can tell the client it is done. Unclear request? Ask in the thread.
